From Glowworm to Vaillant: A Heating Upgrade in Braintree
Our recent project in Braintree was a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate the transformative power of a modern heating system. Our customer was looking to enhance their home comfort and energy efficiency by replacing their old Glowworm boiler with a state-of-the-art Vaillant EcoTec Plus 832.
The existing system was outdated and offered limited control over the heating. Our client desired a more tailored approach, allowing them to zone their home and optimise energy consumption.
Our installation
The installation process involved a complete overhaul, including:
- Removal of the old Glowworm boiler
- Installation of new timber on the wall for the Vaillant EcoTec Plus 832
- Comprehensive pipework replacement
- Upgraded electrical system
To complement the new boiler, we installed a full suite of Vaillant controls, including a weather sensor. This intelligent system enables the boiler to operate at maximum efficiency by adjusting the heating output based on external weather conditions.
The result is a significantly improved heating system that provides our customer with greater comfort, control, and energy savings.
